London Breaks
A tour in good old Europe will never be complete if you don't stop by London. Hailed as the capital f the United Kingdom, London will not fail to amaze you with its beauty and its grandeur, for its history goes way back to the time of the Romans. That being said, there are a lot of sites that you should include in your itinerary once you visit London, and here are just a few of them.
First stop is the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, where you can take a ride and see the beauty of London before your eyes. Since it is considered as the world's highest observation wheel, you will surely get a glimpse of the panoramic London view once you get atop this wheel.
Another place that you should visit in London is the Buckingham Palace, which is the official residence of the England royalties, none other than the Queen herself. During the summer, the Buckingham Palace is open to the public. The changing of the guards is one sight to behold, so you better keep an eye on that.
The British Museum should also be included in your itinerary, since it contains a variety of exhibitions that reach as far back as the prehistoric times. It is also the largest museum that you will find in London.
You also need to visit the Tower of London, which stands for already over 900 years. It served as a prison throughout history, incarcerating famous historical figures such as Anne Boleyn, Sir Walter Raleigh, and Elizabeth I.
Finally, the Westminster Abbey is a must to visit, since this is the place where the royalties of Britain were crowned for centuries. The Westminster Abbey also served as a burial place for the British royalty, and their histories can be read on their graves.
Other places in London that you would not want to miss include the Hyde Park, Big Ben, and Madam Tussauds.
